Hezbollah Flies Drones as Israeli Defenses Fail to Down UAVs

Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance fighters flew drones towards Israeli targets on Monday, with air defenses in the occupied territories failing to down the UAVs.

Hezbollah’s Military Media announced the Islamic Resistance fighters launched an aerial operation with a squadron of assault drones on the newly established headquarters of the 91st Division at the Ayelet Barracks.

The drones targeted the locations where its officers and soldiers were stationed resulted in direct hits, causing confirmed casualties, the first statement released by Hezbollah’s Military Media in the first hours on Monday read.

The drone strike was “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in their brave and honorable resistance, and in response to the attacks and assassinations carried out by the Zionist enemy in the towns of Al-Bazourieh, Deir Siryan, and Houla,” the statement added.

For its part, Israeli occupation military announced that an officer and a soldier were moderately wounded after an explosive-laden drone launched by Hezbollah struck an area near Ayelet HaShahar.

A video circulated on social media showed moment the Iron Dome failing to intercept drones and the interceptor missile exploding on the ground.

In the second statement on Monday, Hezbollah’s Military Media announced that the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Al-Malkiya site with an attacking assault drone at 8:15 am on Monday.

The attack was “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in their brave and honorable resistance,” the statement read.

Later at 10:05 am on Monday, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted Ramim barracks with artillery shells, according to the third statement.
