First Lebanese Released from UAE Arrives at Beirut Airport

“A Middle East Airlines plane arrived at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport today, coming from Dubai, on board of which was Lebanese citizen Zaid al-Deeqa, the first of the eleven Lebanese to be released in wake of mediation efforts by Public Security Chief, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, with the Emirati authorities,” NNA reported on Sunday.

General Ibrahim had announced on Friday that 11 of the Lebanese arrested in UAE would be released.
