Hezbollah Official: 3rd Intifada Part of Resistance

A senior Hezbollah official said the third Intifada (uprising) is part of everyday resistance in Palestine.
Sheikh Naim Qassem, deputy secretary general of Hezbollah, in a speech underlined that the third Intifada is an inseparable part of daily resistance in the occupied Palestine.
He added that resistance is an option that will change the equation (in the Palestinian struggle against the Zionist regime).
Sheikh Qassem further called on Arab nations to support the Palestinian people in their struggle for regaining their land.
Palestinians twice rose up against the Israeli occupiers in their intifadas – December 1987 and September 2000.
A total of 6,200 Palestinians were killed in the two uprisings.
There are rising fears that Israeli attempts to Judaize the holy city of al-Quds (Jerusalem) and its intensified crackdown on Palestinians in recent months spark a third Intifada.
