Custodian of Imam Hussain shrine rewarded

The administrative body of the Imam Hussein holy shrine granted the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine Shaikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai a shield of creativity and excellence for sparing no efforts within the last ten years serving the Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h).

His eminence delivered a speech in which he said, “Thanks to Allah and with the blessings of Allah and Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h), and following the directions of the Supreme Religious Authority represented by Sayed Ali al-Sistani (May Allah be pleased with him), we have obtained the best levels possible.”

He also praised the efforts done by the Imam Hussein foundation. He said further that, “We would do anything possible to make the Imam Hussein holy shrine better in order to serve the pilgrims, and as noticed, we have achieved so many projects such as expanding the holy shrine and constructing a hospital for treating cancer.”

Sayed Afdhal al-Shami, the deputy Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine said that, “Today, we are rewarding the Secretary-General of the Imam Hussein holy shrine Shaikh Abdul Mahdi al-Kerbalai, as a sign of honor to the great efforts he had made within the last ten years he had spent in serving Imam Hussein (p.b.u.h) and his pilgrims.”
