Twenty one terrorists hanged in Iraq

Ministry of Justice announced the implementation of the death sentences against 21 convicts on charges of “terrorism” on Tuesday.

A source in the ministry said on Tuesday that “the Department of the reform in the ministry carried out the death sentences against those convicted of terrorism, including 3 women.
It is relevant to add here that human rights organiastions and activists have been pressing the United Nations and Iraqi government that death penalty should be scrapped in Iraq.
However, Iraqi government refused to pardon terrorists or reduce their conviction.
