Iraqi Shia Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki unhurt in Suicide attack
Iraqi Shia Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was remained unhurt in the suicide attack in Iraqi parliament amid to assassinate the Shiite Prime Minister of Iraq.
The suicide bomber has blown his explosive-laden car at the main enternace of the Iraqi parliament. The military official said that the Iraqi Shiite Prime Minister Nouri Maliki was the prime target of the suicide bomber but Maliki remained secured because of the stern security measures at Iraqi parliament.
The attack came just weeks before the last 14,500 U.S. troops pullout of Iraq. Iraqi forces are still fighting Sunni insurgents linked to al Qaeda and rival Shi’ite militias more than eight years after the U.S. invasion.
Iraqi security officials claimed that the Saudi and its brain child Al-Qaeeda terrorists were involved in the suicide bombing on Shiite Muslims, government and armed forces to destabilize the Iraq.
