Maleki: Karbala explosions, seditious plot of Iraq’s enemies

malkiIraqi prime Minister Nouri al-Maleki condemned Karbala explosions on Thursday and said that massacre of women, children, and elderly, who have come to Karbala for the pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (AS) Holy Shrine, shows the weakness and lack of commitment of the enemies to religious and humane values and their efforts to stir sedition and to scare people.

Citing German news agency,  The Iraqi premier emphasized on prosecution of perpetrators behind Karbala blasts and said that the security organizations should punish the terrorists.

He underscored that such actions will not obstruct the development and advancement of Iraqi security organizations.

The explosion of four bombs in the city of Karbala on Thursday led to martyrdom of 50 pilgrims and injury of 200 others.
