Sayyed al-Hakim assures commitment to his electoral campaign pledges

Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq,

stressed his commitment to the pledges he made during the electoral propaganda.

Sayyed al-Hakim mentioned in his personal account on social media (Facebook) “We clearly assure that we will fulfill every pledge we have made during the electoral campaign. We will be as good as our word and we will commit to what we have said as we will work hard on tuning our words into acts.”

Sayed Ammar al-Hakim called for the European Union to help Iraq out Chapter VII,
and provide more assistance to Iraq, reported a source in the Supreme Council
The head of Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI) , has discussed at his Office in Baghdad with the EU’s ambassadors to Iraq ,the political situation in Iraq , as His Eminence emphasized on Iraq’s need to benefit from the experience of EU countries in devoting the citizenship’s spirit among people “ , added the source in statement which Alforat TV received a copy of it

Also , Sayed al-Hakim stressed that the European Union could provide more assistance to Iraq because it represents the heart of the world, and that Iraq represents the heart of the Middle East, for thus it is possible that there will be an alliance between Iraq and EU, where such alliance will has a strategy dimensions “.

Moreover, Sayed Ammar al-Hakim called on EU states to provide scholarships for Iraqi students, as well as providing support to success the project of “Basra is Iraq’s Economic Capital”, as it will contribute in developing trade between EU and Iraq
