Eleven Iraqi students severely burned while celebrating victory over ISIS
At least 11 Iraqi college students received burns in an incident during a celebration at the Babil University organised to mark the fall of the so-called Islamic State (IS) in the country.
According to local health authorities, most of the victims were severely injured and under treatment now.
The fire erupted from a number of balloons prepared to be flown by the students.
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced the complete defeat of IS last December when the terrorist group was ousted from its last pockets in the western province of Anbar.
