40 wanted arrested by Iraqi forces in north and east of Wasit

Iraq’s Police Directorate announced on Tuesday the arrest of 40 wanted individuals in accordance with different legal materials, including premeditated murder, in northern and eastern Wasit.

Wasit police chief Maj. Gen. Qasim Rashid Zuid said “Today, Wasit police was able to arrest 40 suspects in accordance with the different legal materials, including five accused of murder with premeditation, in the districts of Badra and Essaouira north and east of the province.” .

Zuid added, “The accused were transferred to the police station to conduct the necessary investigation with them in order to bring them to justice to receive their punishment.”
