Iraq’s Hashd Al-Shabi Forces Repelled ISIS in Tharthar Killed 14 Terrorists

Hashd Al-Shabi forces have announced that during clashes with ISIS terrorists in southeast of Tharthar in Al Anbar province, terrorists’ attack has been repelled, 14 ISIS (ISIL/ Daesh) terrorists have been killed and an armored vehicle belonging to terrorists have been seized.

Anbar – Saraya al Jihad forces belonging to the paramilitary Hashd al-Shabi force announced on Tuesday the killing of 14 ISIS elements as well as the seizure of an armored vehicle during clashes with ISIS southeast Tharthar.

The forces said in a press statement that it had “repelled an attack by ISIS terrorist group in the vicinity southeast of Thurthar during their attempt to approach the first defensive line,” adding that, “The Saraya managed to kill 14 terrorists and seize a booby-trapped armored vehicle before detonating it by the terrorists;” IraqiNews reported.
