Iraqi forces have celebrated their victory over ISIS terrorist in Ramadi by raising the flag over the city’s government complex, over which the final battle was held.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is surrounded by Iraqi security forces during a visit to a temporary bridge built by the corps of engineers in the Iraqi army south of Ramadi, on December 29, 2015, after government forces recaptured the city from the ISIS terrorist group.

Abadi visited Ramadi, which lies around 100 kilometres (60 miles) west of Baghdad and is the capital of the province of Anbar, a day after federal forces announced the liberation of the city from the ISIS, clinching a landmark victory.
