Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani and the Secretary-General of the Asaib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, stressed the need to maintain the unity and cohesion of the forces within the coordination framework.
The media office of Sheikh Khazali stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “the Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais Khazali, received today the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, where they discussed the latest political developments in the country, the overall security situation, and the challenges facing the current stage.”
He added, “Both sides stressed the need to maintain the unity and cohesion of the forces of the coordination framework, and to enhance joint coordination among them, in order to support the political process, prioritize the supreme national interest, and confront internal and external challenges with a spirit of responsibility and partnership.
