Thursday is the 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah, says Grand Ayatollah Sistani

The office of the Grand Ayatollah Ali Al-Husseini Sistani announced on Tuesday that Thursday is the 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH.
The office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency – INA that “Tomorrow, Wednesday, is the last day of Dhu al-Qi’dah, and Thursday, May 29th, 2025 AD, is the 1st of Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH.”
