Supreme Judicial Council and Ministry of Interior Discuss Joint Issues

The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, and the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, discussed on Monday the common issues between the judiciary and the investigative bodies in the ministry.

The Supreme Judicial Council said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received today, the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari and his accompanying delegation in the presence of the Chief Prosecutor, Najm Abdullah and the head of the Judicial Supervision Authority, Laith Jabr.”

The Council added that “the two sides discussed a number of common issues between the judiciary and the competent investigation authorities in the ministry, and discussed the best ways to eliminate crimes of all kinds.”
