Iraqi Airways investigates a flight landing at Baghdad Airport instead of Najaf

Iraqi Airways announced on Tuesday that it has opened an investigation into the landing of a flight from Istanbul Airport at Baghdad Airport instead of Najaf.

“There was no technical defect related to the flight from Istanbul Airport to Najaf Airport on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025,” said the company in a statement-

The statement added, “We have ordered an investigation to determine the reasons for landing at Baghdad Airport instead of Najaf Airport.”
