Officials deny Ayat. Al-Sistani’s trip to London for medical care

Sheikh Seyed Mortadha Kashmiri, the representative of the Iraqi top cleric Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani in Europe denied some reports about the Grand Ayatollah’s visit to London for medical treatment.
Sheikh Kashmiri emphasized that the Ayatollah is in good physical condition adding: “He meets his companies on a daily basis.”
He also stressed that the main goal of publishing such rumors is to demoralize the people of Iraq in fight against terrorism.
Ayatollah al-Sistani had visited London for medical treatment once back in 2004.
