DMI arrests two terrorist suspects in Anbar

The Directorate of Military Intelligence DMI announced on Thursday the arrest of two terrorism suspects in Anbar.

DMI said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “Based on accurate intelligence information from the Tenth Division of DMI, in cooperation with intelligence and a force from the Thirty-Eighth and Forty-Eighth Brigades, and through two elaborate ambushes in the Abu Tayban area and Al-Suqour checkpoint, two defendants wanted by the judiciary were arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article Four of the Anti-Terrorism Law in the Ramadi and Fallujah districts.”

DMI added, “They were handed over to the requesting party duly after completing the necessary procedures against them.”
