Peshmerga forces kill 20 ISIS militants, liberate areas in Kirkuk

A security source on monday in Kirkuk province said, that the Kurdish Peshmerga forces killed over 20 ISIS militants in an operation to liberate the areas in southwest of Kirkuk, according to Iraqi news report.

The source stated in an interview, “The paramilitary Peshmgera forces backed by police elements have managed to liberate the district of al-Multaqa and 13 villages in the area of Mulla Abdullah, located in southwest of Kirkuk,” pointing out that, “The operation resulted in killing more than 20 ISIS fighters during fierce clashes.”
