“Unity is the gate to Islam.”

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ammar Hakim, Head of the Supreme Council of Iraq, attended the 28th International Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran calling for practicing the mottos.

Iraqi cleric referred to the challenges ahead of Islam saying,” The most important challenges ahead of Islam are not external because then the enemy is known against which we are already on guard.” Adding,” This is the enemy at home who plots in disguise.”

Head of the Supreme Council of Iraq stressed Islamic unity as the way against internal enemies and underscored practicing the mottos as the way for realization of Islamic solidarity.

Seyyed Ammar Hakim also referred to the issue of Takfir (excommunication) in the world of Islam and said,” Relevance of Takfiri groups like DAESH, is due to religious and sectarian prejudices and that is a threat for the whole world.”

Iraqi cleric called for concentration of all efforts in ideological and theoretical fields and said,” this objective is possible in the light of dialogues and conferences.

According to the Iraqi figure the second effort must be to practice the theories as well as cooperation for disclosing the hostile plots.

Top Iraqi cleric expressed his gratitude for the efforts of Iran to confront Takiri moves in Iraq, institutionalization of unity away from any personal interests and maintaining the interests of the Muslim world.
