Iraqi Forces Regain Control over Gharaib Bridge in Salahuddin

The Iraqi security forces, backed by volunteers, regained control over Gharaib Bridge, Southern Tikrit city, Salahuddin province, on Saturday.

“The security forces, backed by the volunteers, controlled Gharaib bridge after an armed clashes with the terrorists of the so-called the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) group,” a security source said.

The security forces and the volunteers inflicted heavy losses on the ISIL terrorists, the source added.
