Iraqi prime minister leaves for Washington

The office of the Iraqi prime minister announced that Mustafa al-Kazemi is on a trip to Washington at the formal invitation of the US government.
Accordingly, Al-Kazemi is scheduled to meet with US President Donald Trump on Thursday (August 20th) to discuss regional developments and bilateral issues.
The Iraqi people and parliamentarians stress the need to end any US military presence on their soil.
