Iraq’s Politicians Amiri and Khazali Accuse US-Israel for Sedition in Iraq

Hadi Al-Amiri, the head of the Badr Organization and Qais Khazali, head of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, blamed the US and Zionist entity for instigating bloody protests in Iraq, in which hundreds of people were killed and thousands wounded.

“There are outside forces seeking to drag Iraq into chaos,” Amiri told reporters on the sidelines of the funeral of a member of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, who was killed along with his brother in Misan province.

“Today we are facing a big sedition Israel and America are behind it,” he said, adding that “retribution for the blood of the dead will be taken against the US and Israel.”

“The blood of the dead and the victims is borne by America and Israel,” Khazali said, adding that “we will not allow our country to go into the abyss.”
