Imam Khamenei Leads Funeral Prayers for Ayatollah Tehrani

Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Grand Ayatollah Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei led the funeral prayers for the late Ayatollah Aqa Mojtaba Tehrani.

Ayatollah Tehrani died on Wednesday, the eve of Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (AS), after brief illness. He was a great religious scholar and known for his scholarship among Hoza-e-Ilmiya’s Grand Ayatollahs. He was a great Arif and aalim and had left whole of Islamic world mourning his sad demise.

Heads of the three branches of government and the state and military officials were present in the ceremony held at Martyr Motahhari High College in Tehran.
