Supreme Leader: People behind existing stability in Iran

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said people are behind the stability now existing in Iran.

The Supreme Leader made the remarks Monday morning while addressing a large gathering of people in the city of Shirvan in North Khorassan province.

The leader praised the sacrifices and braveries of the local people in hard times and commemorated the city’s seven martyred commanders of the 1980-88 Iraqi imposed war.

The Ayatollah pointed out in his remarks that the vigilance and insight of the Iranian nation has led to a sustainable political stability in the country.

He said this was a true blessing for the Iranian nation in a world in which oppressive and expansionist superpowers are trying to create instability everywhere in the world including the Middle East.

Ayatollah Khamenei said spreading instability serves as a tool in the hands of bullying powers.

The Supreme Leader reiterated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has managed to maintain its stability, thanks to the vigilance and insight of the nation.
