Supreme Leader arrives in northeastern Bojnourd

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Grand Ayatollah Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei arrived in this northeastern provincial capital city on Wedensday morning.
The Ayatollah was officially welcomed at the airport by a number of local authorities.

Later in the day, the Supreme Leader is to address the enthusiastic people at the city’s main stadium.

During his week-long stay in the province, the Supreme Leader is to hold separate meetings with people from different walks of life to become closely familiar with their problems.

Meeting with families of wartime martyrs, as well as provincial academics and clerics is also on the Supreme Leader’s schedule.

Ayatollah Khamenei is accompanied by members of the cabinet which is to hold a session in his presence.
