Aim of science,to serve people,welfare, elevation, and prosperity of mankind.

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that the government’s full support for development of science is an unchangeable principle and strategy.

President Â underscored that the ultimate aim of science in Iran is to serve people, while adding that the science that has reached its Â perfection serves the health, welfare, elevation, and prosperity of mankind.

According to report, in an address to a meeting of officials in charge of strategic technological headquarters in Tehran on Thursday, President Ahmadinejad referred to the status of Iranian nation in the scene of science and technology in the past centuries and in the scientific movement of recent years, while adding that the Iranian nation maintains huge capacities for development and progress.

He reminded that Iran has been the center of thoughts and science for numerous centuries and has currently revived this status.

In further remarks, the president referred to sacredness of science in the view of Iranian nation, and added that the prominent Iranian scientists work diligently round the clock for production of science.
