Top Shia Cleric: Islam is the Religion of Unity

The General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri issued a message on the occasion the third International Qur’an Competition for Muslim Students held in Tehran.“If Muslims population gets knowledgeable and cognizant they will understand that Islam is the religion of unity,” the Grand Ayatollah mentioned in the announcement.“Quran advises  people and never deceives them, it guides people to the right path and never bewilders them,” the ayatollah said in part of his message.The General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought underscored, “Qur’an is the source of science and never lies to its readers.”“Qur’an awakens people and this awakening can make unity in Islamic Ummah
