Tehran’s Friday prayer sermons
Tehran’s interim Friday Prayer Leader, Ayatollah Syed Ahmad Khatami, has said that December 30 is the day of the Iranian nation’s major epic, and the day of renewal of the nation’s allegiance to the Leader of Islamic Revolution.
He further reminded the fateful and decisive presence of the Iranian nation in the epic registered on December 30, 2009 in support for Velayat-e Faqih or Governance of Supreme Jurist, while noting that this day is an honorable phase in the history of Islamic Revolution.
Comparing the last year’s incidents with the sedition against the rule of the First Infallible Imam of the Prophet of Islam, Mohammad (PBUH) Household, Imam Ali (AS), Tehran interim Friday Prayer leader enumerated different tools of the seditionists, including lies and baseless accusations, casting doubts, sacrilege, media disinformation campaign, misuse of sacred values, and efforts to drive a wedge between the people and the sacred Islamic system.
In further remarks, Ayatollah Khatami referred to the terrorist operations across Iran’s eastern borders and the presence of terrorists in Pakistan’s soil, while pointing out that Islamabad, which has detained the terrorists, should swiftly hand them over to Iran.
He also referred to prohibition of Hejab in Azerbaijan Republic’s schools and universities, while calling on the Azerbaijan Government to let go of their Muslim nation, especially the Shiite majority.
