Afghanistan’s First Vice-President pays tribute to late Imam Khomeini
Visiting First Vice-President of Afghanistan Mohammad Qasim Fahim paid tribute to the Founder of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini, on Sunday. Fahim put a wreath of flowers on the tomb of the late Imam and signed a memorial book at his mausoleum in  southern Tehran during a ceremony which was also attended by his Iranian counterpart Mohammad-Reza Rahimi.
The Afghan official arrived in Tehran Friday afternoon on a three-day visit along with a number of Afghan’s cabinet members.
He has, so far, met with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi.
