Tehran’s interim Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ahmad Khatami has said that the designation of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the International Qods Day by the Founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, late Imam Khomeini (May his soul rest in peace) revived the issue of Palestine.According to the Shiite News, Ayatollah Khatami underlined that the International Qods Day Â led to collapse of conditions that the Zionist regime had imagined for itself with the occupation of the Palestinian territories.
Referring to resumption of compromise talks in Washington, Ayatollah Khatami noted that these negotiations betray the Palestinian nation and noted that compromise talks are illegitimate.
He underscored that the compromise talks are doomed to failure, while adding that based on a recent opinion poll, 92% of Palestinian people are against the compromise talks.Back to top button
Tehran interim Friday Prayer leader went on to point out that the 22-day resistance of the Palestinian population of Gaza against the Zionist regime is the symbol of grandeur of the sacred religion of Islam, while underlining that the resistance and steadfastness of the Palestinian people has degraded and humiliated the Zionist enemy.
Tehran interim Friday Prayer leader also referred to Pakistan’s devastating flood and termed this flood as the catastrophe of the century, while calling on the World of Islam to help the people of Pakistan.
