Ayatollah Taskhiri slams Zionist regime’s attack on “Palestine Freedom Flotilla”
Secretary General of the International Society for Approximation of Islamic Schools Ayatollah Taskhiri said Monday, May 31, Zionist regime’s attack on “Palestine Freedom Flotilla” was carried out by green light of the US and Britain.
Condemning the attack, he said, “widespread objections against Zionist regime’s crimes will emerge not only in Islamic countries but in the whole world.”
The attack confirms criminal nature of the regime, he said, Rohama reported.
Ayatollah Taskhiri also continued the US, UK and Zionist regime’s sponsors are the major criminals of the attack and they gave green light to Zionist regime to carry out the strike.
He also criticized performance of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and the UN on the issue, saying, “I hope that Muslims show serious reaction to the attack.”
20 pro-Palestinian activists were killed and some 60 others injured after Zionist regime’s naval and air commandos attacked a convoy an aid flotilla heading toward the blockaded Gaza Strip on Monday, May 31.
