Ayatollah Zeyn-ol Abeddin Warns Azerbaijan’s President on Demolishing Shia Mosques

Prominent Shia Cleric, Ayatollah Zeyn-ol Abeddin Ghorbani,warned Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev on demolishing Shia mosques in Azerbaijan and asked him to immediately stop the demolishing of Shia mosques in the country. He referred to the condition of Shia Masjids in Azerbaijan during Friday prayer.
Ayatollah added: “Ilham Aliyev shouldn’t become a tool for Zionists and Wahhabis, otherwise, the Islamic elite will call Shias for struggle and rebel.â€
Moreover, Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi has warned the government of Azerbaijan to stop destroying the country’s mosques.
