Mohsen Rezaei Appointed Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council

Shiite News: Seyyed Mehdi Tabatabaei, an aide to the President for communications and information, announced in a social media post that, by presidential order, Mohsen Rezaei has been appointed to the important position of Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC).

The Supreme National Security Council is regarded as one of Iran’s most important policymaking bodies, playing a central role in decisions related to national security, defense strategy, and major domestic and foreign affairs.
