Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni Receives Warm Welcome Upon Arrival in Pakistan

Shiite News: Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and his delegation were warmly received by Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi upon their arrival in Pakistan. Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry presented a bouquet to the visiting Iranian minister as a gesture of welcome.

Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, was also present on the occasion.

Speaking at the reception, Mohsin Naqvi said, “I warmly welcome my brother to Pakistan. I hope Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni has brought positive news with him.”

He added that the Iranian minister’s visit would further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran and expressed hope for progress on regional issues during the visit.

The high-level Iranian delegation accompanying Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni includes the Governor-General of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, the Deputy Interior Minister, the Deputy Minister for Urban Development and Transport, the Head of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), the Special Representative of Iran’s Minister of Agriculture, and several other senior officials.

During his visit, Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
