Russian President Putin Ready for Phone Call with Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei

Shiite News: Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to hold a telephone conversation with Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, although no formal arrangements have been made so far.

According to the Russian news agency TASS, Peskov stated that there is currently no scheduled phone call between President Putin and the Iranian leader. However, the Russian president is prepared for such contact whenever it is arranged.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin congratulated Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei on his reported election as the third Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, stating that Russia would remain a reliable partner of Tehran.
