IRGC Launches ‘Nasr 2’ Operation, Claims Missile Strike on US Command Center in Syria
Shiite News: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that, during the eleventh phase of Operation Nasr 2, it carried out a missile strike on a US Special Operations Command Center located in the Al-Tanf region of Syria.
According to a statement issued by the IRGC’s Public Relations Department, the operation was conducted in retaliation for the killing of Iranian soldiers in the Bampur area of Iranshahr, Iran.
The statement said that the attack, carried out under the code name “یا اباعبداللہ الحسینؑ” targeted the US command center, a radar system, and several special operations helicopters. It also claimed that a large number of US military personnel were killed.

The IRGC further stated that it maintains full control over the Strait of Hormuz through its naval forces and warned that as long as US military actions continue, it would not allow the export of oil and gas through the region.
