IRGC Navy commander urges unity against ‘enemy plots’
The commander of the IRGC naval force says that the Iranian people would remain a firm barrier against enemy plots.
Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri made the remarks in a message ahead of the 47th anniversary of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution on Sunday, saying the revolution was a turning point in Iran’s history and a new beginning for “the awakening of oppressed nations”.
Tangsiri said Iran’s adversaries were seeking to weaken public hope and trust through a campaign of “hybrid war and toxic propaganda”, adding that preserving unity, awareness and an active public presence was a shared responsibility, according to the statement.
