Shiite News: Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali, head of Iran’s Civil Defense Organization, stated that the country’s network of underground missile towns stands as a testament to Iran’s defensive strength and strategic success in ensuring national security.
Speaking at a ceremony in Tehran, General Jalali said that the late Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, former commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, played a key role in the development of these missile complexes.
He noted that during the 12-day Sacred Defense exercises against the United States and Israel in June, Iran demonstrated its military readiness and technological advancement, though some weaknesses in national infrastructure were identified and are now being addressed.
General Jalali revealed that the General Staff and government are jointly planning a series of defense drills and infrastructure upgrades to further enhance the country’s readiness against any potential aggression.
