In a visit to the Islamic Republic Police Command Center, President Massoud Pezeshkian has emphasized the critical role of new technologies in enhancing national security and protecting law enforcement personnel.

During the Tuesday visit, which coincided with Iran’s Police Week, Pezeshkian highlighted the potential of drones and other advanced technologies to improve border control and combat criminal activities effectively.

The president expressed gratitude to the police for their dedication to maintaining security and assured them that his administration would spare no effort in addressing their challenges.

He acknowledged the traffic issues caused by motorcyclists, stressing the need to balance enforcement with the livelihoods of those who depend on motorcycles for their income. He urged that compliance with traffic regulations not only benefits public safety but also supports their economic activities.

Furthermore, Pezeshkian underscored the importance of data network connectivity, citing the recent identification and seizure of 530,000 unauthorized fuel cards by the Ministry of Oil, which helped prevent the smuggling of 1.3 million liters of fuel.

He reiterated the administration’s commitment to resolving the economic difficulties faced by the families of martyrs and veterans in law enforcement, stating that their welfare is a priority.
