Pezeshkian: Iran pursues path of steadfastness and dignity against bullies

President Masoud Pezeshkian has stressed that Iran’s path has chosen steadfastness, relying on its people’s capabilities, and moving with dignity towards a bright future.

Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Sunday evening, Pezeshkian discussed the results and agenda of his recent trip to New York, highlighting his meetings with officials from various countries.

E​​mphasizing the unreasonable and aggressive behavior of the United States towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly regarding its genuine efforts to reach a fair resolution on the nuclear issue, the president said, “According to the repeated teachings of the Holy Quran, those who break covenants and act as bullies will never be satisfied with us unless we surrender to their demands. This scenario will never happen.”

Pezeshkian explained the planning efforts undertaken by his administration, assuring that the country is prepared to handle any circumstances. He emphasized that the well-being and livelihoods of the people are the administration’s primary concern.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the president highlighted the importance of the Iranian people’s pursuit of dignity and independence, adding that when faced with the choice of surrendering to bullies or choosing the path of dignity, steadfastness, and reliance on their own people’s strength, Iran will undoubtedly select the latter option.

Pezeshkian underlined that through Iran’s extensive and constructive interactions with its neighbors, the ill-wishers will never achieve their objectives and delusions.
