Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution in Iran Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei sent a letter to Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah to offer condolences on the death of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Muslim Scholars Judge Sheikh Ahmed Al-Zein.
Imam Khamenei stressed, in his letter, that the painful demise of Sheikh Al-Zein made his eminence condole Sayyed Nasrallah, the late cleric’s family as well as beloved ones, the Islamic scholars and all the Lebanese .
The Resistance records will preserve the Sheikh Al-Zein’s defense of Imam Khomeini’s awakening as well as the resistance in face of the Zionist enemy and the powers of arrogance during the long years, according to the letter.
Imam Khamenei concluded his letter by reiterating his condolences to Sheikh Al-Zein’s companions in the Association of Muslim Scholars, hoping Holy God grants His Broad Mercy to the late cleric.
Hezbollah issued on Tuesday a statement in which it mourned Judge Sheikh Ahmad Al-Zein, expressing a deep grief over the cleric’s death after a long jihadi and educational journey.
Hezbollah statement hailed the long jihadi journey of Sheikh Al-Zein, adding his eminence supported the Resistance during the various stages and conditions regardless of any blame.
Hezbollah underscored Sheikh Al-Zein’s efforts in support of the Palestinian cause, people and resistance, highlighting his role in renouncing strife maintaining the Islamic and national unity.
