Bahrain’s Jaw detainees assaulted by guards

Bahrain Rights campaigner Ebtisam al-Saegh is reporting that a number of detainees at Jaw Prison sustained injuries after being assaulted by the guards at the facility on Wednesday night.
The assault reportedly targeted prisoners in Jaw’ s Building 1 as they had their cells searched.
The reasons behind the incident remain unknown.
Jaw is known for the brutal treatment of its inmates, which includes the systematic use of torture.
