Sheikh Qassem in Need of Several Medical Surgeries: Bahrain’s Al-Wifaq

Bahrain’s Al-Wifaq Islamic Association announced Tuesday that Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem is in an urgent need of a number of surgeries which can be identified after his eminence undergoes critical medical checks.

In a statement, Wifaq stressed that the house arrest imposed on Sheikh Qassem led to deterioration of his health, blaming the regime’s media outlets for misleading the local and international public opinion.
