Al-Khalifa Forces: Arrest of 2 Sisters Increases Number of Detained Bahraini Women to 11

The Public Prosecution decided on Thursday (June 22, 2017) to arrest two sisters for 7 days pending investigation and release their third sister.

The prosecution arrested Fatima and Iman Ali Abdulla and released their sister Amal.

The authorities arrested the three sisters within a brutal raid campaign launched by the regime forces on the dawn of Wednesday (June 21, 2017) in Diraz.

The number of detained women increased to 11. Detained women are serving prison sentences over charges including tweeting and treating protestors against Al Khalifa regime.
