Bahraini Youths Continue Sit-Ins in Support of spiritual leader

Bahraini youths continue sit-ins in the northwestern village of Diraz to express their solidarity with Sheikh Isa Qassim, the spiritual leader of the Shiite majority in the Arab country.
The sit-ins in front of the house of Shiekh Qassim, whose citizenship has been revoked by the Al Khalifa regime, have been going on for months.
Holding placards and photos of Sheikh Qassim, the participants in the sit-in protests emphasize that they will defend the cleric against the conspiracies of the Al Khalifa regime.
On January 26, the Manama regime’s mercenaries attacked a sit-in near Sheikh Qassim’s residence, firing live bullets at unarmed protesters.
Thousands of anti-regime protesters have held demonstrations in Bahrain on an almost daily basis ever since a popular uprising began in the kingdom in February 2011.
