Bahrain’s Haq Movement Calls on Authorities to Release Political Prisoners

Bahrain’s Haq Movement called on the regime authorities to release the political prisoners in light of recording a number of coronavirus infections among the inmates in the crowded jails.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the movement stressed that the Bahraini regime has insisted for ten years to follow the strategy of jailing the opposition figures in order to suppress the protests aimed at achieving the right to freedom, democracy and equality.

Haq Movement urged solidarity with the political prisoners in Bahrain, highlighting the importance of demanding their release so that they can get rid of the regime persecution.
