Manama’s security forces detained another minor this week

An online Bahraini monitoring network is reporting that Manama’s security forces detained another minor this week.

The youngster has been identified as Ali Ramadan Al-Samea. According to activists, he was arbitrarily detained on Friday morning.

There is no further information available on where the arrest took place or what exactly Al-Samea is being accused of.

The number of Bahraini minors imprisoned by Manama’s security services has risen substantially in recent years with rights groups warning that the children are being subjected to ill-treatemnt in detention.
