Bahraini detainees enter second month on hunger strike

Bahraini detainees Ali al-Hajee and Naji Fateel have reportedly completed an entire month on hunger strike.
The London-based Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy (BIRD) is reporting that their hunger strike entered the second month.
According to BIRD, the pair is protesting the denial of medical care, physical and psychological abuses as well as restrictions on family visits.
Late last year, Al-Hajee and Fateel observed a 75-day hunger strike over similar abuses.
The two allege that they are victims of torture sentenced to lengthy prison terms during unfair trials.
