Pakistani speaker: Strengthening relations with Iran is Pakistan’s priority

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of the position of Tehran and Islamabad for regional peace and stability, said: Strengthening relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially in the economic and parliamentary sectors, is an important priority for Pakistan.

Sardar Ayaz Sadeq met with Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam in Islamabad today.

The two sides exchanged views on the latest developments related to Iran-Pakistan bilateral relations and regional issues, especially the war in Gaza.
